Booking for barbershops

Your shop. Your clients. No new‑client fees.

Clients book themselves and get reminded. You stop chasing them. On your own link, not in a marketplace next to the shop down the street. For one chair or six.

Opening to a few shops first. Tell us about your shop, no card needed, and we’ll email you to help set it up.

Pricing is set before we open to everyone.

  • Deposits you keep when they no-show
  • Clients book without an app or account
  • Text and email reminders, sent for you

Pay for the app, not for your own clients.

dibbo isn’t a marketplace. There’s no directory and no “shops near you” list. One monthly price, no commission, and no fee for any client, new or regular.

dibbo won’t send you new clients. Your chair and your Instagram do that. dibbo makes sure they can book, and that they stay yours.

How deposits stop no-shows
Owners and renters

Renters keep their book. You keep yours.

Every barber in your shop works one of two ways. You and each barber pick what fits.

On the shop’s book

The barber joins your shop in dibbo and sees only their own clients and their own day. You see every client in the shop. If they leave, their login ends that day, and clients booked through the shop stay on the shop’s book.

Best for employees and commission barbers.

Their own book

The renter signs up as their own business, with their own link, services, prices and deposits. Their clients are theirs. You can’t see them, and they can’t see yours.

Best for renters who bring their own following.

Different barbers on different apps? Each one can switch when they’re ready. At launch, a renter’s own link isn’t listed on your shop’s booking page.

Switching over

Keep your old app while clients switch

You don’t have to move everyone in one day. Run dibbo next to what you use now, and let your regulars come over as they rebook.

  1. 1

    Set up

Add your services, barbers and hours. Connect Stripe if you want deposits.

  2. 2

    Share your link

Put it in your IG bio, and text it to your regulars from your own phone.

  3. 3

    Book everyone new on dibbo

Walk-ins go in your dibbo book too, so your client list builds with every cut.

  4. 4

    Block the overlap

The two apps don’t sync. While you run both, block off time in dibbo for bookings still on the old app.

  5. 5

    Bring the rest over

Importing your client list from a spreadsheet comes after launch. If your current app lets you download your clients, that’s the file you’ll use.

Booking

Booked while you’re mid-fade

Clients pick a cut, a barber or whoever’s free, and a real open time. They book at 11pm, and it’s in your book when you wake up. No DMs.

  • Only open times show, so nobody books on top of anyone
  • Add-ons like a beard trim or hot towel add their own time and price
  • Time to sweep and sanitize between clients, built in
  • Put the link in your IG bio. Got a website? It drops right in

Reminders and no-shows

Reminders go out. You keep cutting.

Every reminder has a link to confirm or reschedule, so you never send one by hand. Texts start with “dibbo:” and name your shop.

  • A confirmation when they book and a reminder the day before, by text and email
  • Take a deposit. Cancel before your refund window, like 24 hours, and they get it back. Cancel inside it or don’t show, and you keep it
  • Set a cutoff and the link won’t let them cancel or change online after it
  • No-shows stay marked on the client’s page

Their usual, their last visit, their no-shows and your notes, on one page. Check the book from your phone between cuts, or from the front desk.

  • Walk-in shows up? Add him to the book and that time closes online
  • Notes like “#2 on the sides, skin at the bottom”, on every client
  • Each barber sees only their own clients. The owner sees the whole shop

Questions barbers ask

Something else? Email hello@dibbo.io, or try the demo shop first.

What does it cost?
There’s no price yet. We set it before we open to everyone. It’ll be one monthly price on this page, with no commission and no fee for any client, new or regular. Optional add-ons: texting from your own number and your own web address.
What happens when I sign up for early access?
You tell us your shop’s name, how many chairs you have and what you use now. No card. We email you back to help set up your services, barbers and hours.
Will dibbo bring me new clients?
No, and that’s on purpose. There’s no directory, so we never send your clients to another shop either. New heads come from your chair, your Instagram and word of mouth. dibbo makes it easy for them to book.
Can I keep my current app while I try it?
Yes. Run both, and block off time in dibbo for bookings still on the old app. See “Switching over” above.
Can I bring my clients over?
Not on day one. Importing from a spreadsheet comes after launch. Until then, every booking and walk-in builds your list.
I rent chairs out. Can I see my renters’ clients?
Only if they join your shop’s book. If a renter signs up as their own business, their clients are private to them.
Do I need Stripe? Does dibbo take a cut of deposits?
Only if you want deposits or online payment. You connect Stripe during setup, and Stripe pays out to your bank. dibbo takes no cut; Stripe charges its normal card fee. Everything else you take in the shop, however you take it now.
Can clients cancel last minute?
Not online after your cutoff, like 24 hours. If the service takes a deposit, they get it back only if they cancel before your refund window. Charging a saved card after a no-show is planned, with no date.
Why do the texts say “dibbo”?
Texts go out from dibbo’s number, so the rules say they start with “dibbo:”. Every text names your shop. Emails come in your shop’s name. Texting from your own number is an add-on coming after launch.

Your client list is locked to your shop. Other shops can’t see it, and our team can’t open it without your OK. How we protect your clients

Keep your clients to yourself
