Rebooking Coming next

Their next cut, booked before they leave

The easiest client to book is the one already in your chair. Coming next: a reminder when a regular is due, and standing appointments. Planned after that: their next cut suggested before they leave, same barber and time a few weeks out, booked in one tap.

Concept A concept of “Book your next?”: the same barber and time, three weeks after today’s cut.

Regulars drift when the next cut isn’t booked

A client who leaves without their next appointment means to book it. Then the week gets busy, their usual Friday fills up, and they end up in whatever chair is free.

Booking the next one at checkout means scrolling a calendar while the next client waits. It should take one tap.

How it works

  1. 1

Set how often each service repeats

Every three weeks for a fade, every two for a lineup. Or set it for one client: Jay comes every two weeks.

  2. 2

    Rebook in the chair

Tap Rebook at checkout. dibbo suggests the same barber and time, three weeks out, or the nearest open time. One more tap and it’s booked.

    Planned
  3. 3

    Or they book it themselves

After they book, and again after their visit, the client sees “Book your next?” with that time ready. No form to fill in.

    Planned
  4. 4

Put regulars on a standing appointment

Every two weeks, Friday at 4, with Marcus. dibbo keeps the next few visits booked, and tells you if one can’t fit.

  5. 5

    A reminder when they’re due

If a regular still hasn’t booked, dibbo sends a link to book again, but only if they agreed to hear from you.

Questions

Something else? Email hello@dibbo.io.

Is this ready at launch?
Not yet. Rebook reminders and standing appointments are coming next, and one-tap rebooking is planned but not scheduled. At launch, a regular books their next visit from your booking link like any other booking.
Will clients get texts asking them to rebook?
Only if they agreed to hear from you. Their appointment reminders never carry a sales pitch. Rebook messages follow the opt-in rules, and STOP always works.
What if their usual time is taken?
dibbo looks for the nearest open time with the same barber: the same day a little earlier or later, then the same weekday a week either side. The client can always pick another time.
Can a standing appointment double-book me?
No. Each visit is a normal booking, so the same no-double-booking rule applies. If a visit can’t fit, dibbo books nothing and tells you.
